What can I save?
Web pages and articles, YouTube, PDFs, voice notes, Instagram reels and posts, photos, copied text, QR codes and your own writing. Hundreds of links at once from a list or a WhatsApp export.
Does it work in Hindi?
Save in any language; your note is in clear English, with “Show original”. What you write yourself stays exactly as you wrote it.
Does it make things up?
It’s built not to: every AI answer is checked first, and what the source didn’t say is marked as not in the source. AI can still be wrong, so check what matters, and report a note that’s off.
Who can read my notes?
Only your account can reach them. A locked note is sealed (encrypted with a key only your phone holds), so even we can’t read it. When you ask something, an AI service reads the few bits it needs, for that answer only.
Is my data used to train AI?
While Quern is in early testing, its AI uses free services that may learn from what they’re sent. Don’t save anything you wouldn’t want an AI service to see. A locked note is never sent.
Do I need an account?
No. Start as a guest; continue with Google to keep your notes on every phone.
